According to Wikipedia, the metric expansion of space is a key part of science's current understanding of the universe, whereby spacetime itself is described by a metric which changes over time in such a way that the spatial dimensions appear to grow or stretch as the universe gets older. This fact provides little comfort to my poor wife, who currently appears to be growing or stretching as Max gets older. You'll pay for this, science!

Last week was extremely quiet. This week, not so much. All sorts of stuff happened, both Max-related and not.
For the last couple of weeks, our Element has been in the shop, having its tailgate replaced after our fender-bender a couple of month ago. So, we've been a one-car (and a tiny car at that) family for a while. It's not bad, because we carpool anyway, but I think Jon finally agrees that the Civic is too tiny to carry us, Max and all of Max's future stuff! Luckily, we picked our "Lellie" up Wednesday afternoon.

This week we found out some very good news for Christy. She passed her glucose tolerance test on the first try, so she can have as many milkshakes and cupcakes as she wants! Seems like a pretty big win for Max, too. I don't think he'd be quite so happy if he had to go on a high-veggie low sugar diet for the next few months.
