Amazingly enough, we've gone completely off of our regular posting schedule. We keep trying to make these happen on Sunday, but then we sit on the couch and we get sleepy and...well, at least we're posting semi-weekly.
Over the last week, Christy went back to work (luckily, at home full-time), Max started smiling more frequently, and I found out how to turn off the water main (more on this at the bottom of the post). Max also went in for his 2 month visit...

I know, I know. Elephant! Baby! Cute! So anyway, he weighs 12 pounds 8 ounces (nearly 5 pounds higher than when he was born...sore arms, yeesh) and is a little over 25" tall. This puts him in higher than the 97th percentile for his height and the 75th percentile for weight. He was declared "well" and sent on his way after four horrible needles to the thigh. I'm pretty sure we already got rid of polio, but the doctor said it was necessary.
Aside from that, we've just been hanging around...

...doing baby push-ups...

...and hanging out some more...

Everyone's very happy and we've had a nice relaxing couple of weeks aside from my unnecessarily long installation of a pump system that gives us hot water in the kitchen. In the interest of not getting bogged down in the details, the instructions did not include a broken spigot, two trips to Home Depot, and wrapping my entire body around a water heater. It works now, though!
