5 Months (Babies Everywhere!)

As of Sunday, Max is five months old. Time seems to be both dragging and speeding along like crazy for us! This week has been quite the adventure, complete with new faces, new accessories, and even new foods...

After last week's total collapse of brain function, we mostly kept to ourselves for the first part of this week. We did a lot of hanging around the house and trying to relax as much as we could, but we knew that the weekend would be a different story. We spent Friday at the mall, Saturday at Chris and Nora's place, and Sunday trying to recover as well as we could.

Max made things interesting with lots of talking and a well-timed diapersplosion at the mall. Mikey made things interesting by yelling "Oooooooohhhh!" every time he threw a ball to anyone in the room. Christy made things interesting by totally killing my drumming score while playing Rock Band.

Five months with a monkey. He's going to have an unhealthy attachment to this thing when he gets older.

Just so you know, not all of these pictures turn out just right.

Max is now making this face a lot. His bottom lip is evidently as delicious as his hands.

Coolest. Baby. Ever.

Why, yes, that is my baby being neglected in the background. Why do you ask?

Mikey demonstrates the importance of flexing your muscles for the ladies. All of your muscles. At one time. RRRRRRRRRRRR!

Max enjoys his first spoon-fed meal...
