How is this even possible?

We really didn't do much this week. There was a small outing to wish Aunt Tammy a happy 29th birthday, a few trips to the grocery store, a little cooking, a little cleaning...but beyond that, nada.

Yet all three of us are completely exhausted. I was going to start this post last night but I passed out in a bowl of sorbet instead.

We only have the one kid, so I don't get it. There are people out there with three or four kids who somehow manage to stay upright for a decent portion of the day. I am now convinced that they are not people at all. I'm not sure what they are...zombies, pod people, trans-dimensional travelers...but I don't care. You should all know that I'm on to you, and that I've got my eyes on you (on those rare occasions that they're open).

Now, before I pass out in another bowl of sorbet (I can't help it, it's so cool and delicious!), I'll move on with the pictures and a brand new video!

I fit in my bouncer!

Mommy did this to me.

If you think I'm waking up, you can talk to this.

I'm telling you, dude, it was this big. Also, JAZZ HANDS!

If you look closely, you can find the hidden drool.

He's so tired, he can only give me a half-lip.

This'll work. Bring me a martini.

I promise we didn't drug him. He did this by himself.

And now, something that's been MIA for a while on the site: Video!

Chatty Max
Max gives up the noise.

Nan:

Precious!!! He is getting so verbal and looks really happy! Have fun, Can't wait to see you all in a couple of weeks. Love, Nan

Jo Ann Fogle:

I sat here and just cried watching you two play with Max. It meant so much--I showed Dr.Barkley the pictures this morning but missed the video-will have to show everyone tomorrow.
Dr. Barkley loves cameras like I do-and he loves his grandbabies like I love my grand nieces-nephews and great nieces and nephews.
I'll send you a dvd of photos as yet have no clue how to send anyway else.
Love ya
JoAnn
