Max at Home and Abroad

This week was very much of a "coming down" sort of affair. We always need a little time to recover when we've taken a long weekend trip, and this one was no different. Luckily, we're finally getting back to normal around here. The ant poison is gone (along with the ants), the kitchen is sort of back in order, and the house is (mostly) clean. With everything (kind of) in order, we...or should I say, Christy...were even able to take a nice day away on the weekend.

Max still doesn't quite have the whole crawling thing down, but he did manage to pull himself up to standing this evening. It was quite impressive, though he hasn't managed to repeat the performance yet. I'm sure he'll be cruising before we know it. I fear he'll be walking soon...the end is nigh!

We did add one more photo to our album from last week (we forgot it was still on the camera). It pretty much sums up the aftermath.

I think he might be a little worn out.

He recovered quickly, though. We had some decent fun as the week went on.

This is my new table. It plays music. I bet your table doesn't play music. Suckers.

If I didn't know better, I'd swear he's vogueing in his sleep.

Why sit in the monkey's lap when I can attack the person with the camera?

Did you know that this book has things that stick out? For example, these delicious hippo ears.

As I mentioned, we got out of the house this weekend to go visit the Dudeks. The women abandoned us almost immediately to go enjoy a few hours at the spa. I suppose Christy deserves it, seeing as she (as I'm sure she'll mention when she sees this) takes care of Max while I'm out partying at work during the day. At least Max and Mikey got a little playtime in.

Ha ha! I took your block!

Ha ha! I took your chair!

See you next week!
