Really, the story is best told in photos, so I might as well let them speak.

All the toys in the world. Guess what he wants.

So of course, we had to trap him in the entryway...

...where he would remain under my ever-watchful gaze.

Then we had to go to the store.

Then he tried on a shirt his Nan gave him...

Which he accepted...eventually...or maybe...

...not so much...

...then he passed out...

...and showed us what he thinks of naptime...

As you can see, a very busy week for all of us. He's also been trying out some new meal options, as we're trying to wean him off of the convenience of jars.

Max's first official jar-free meal. Turkey, noodles, peas, carrots, and apple-blueberry sauce. He had no trouble shoving all of it in his mouth at once.

But wait, there's more! He's now spending a lot of time in the living room, which means we get fun photos in front of the chair in there, like this one.

Sheesh, he looks so much like a little boy now.

We wanted him to do this, we really did. At least, that's what we keep telling ourselves.
