Friday evening, Jon commented that we hadn't taken any pictures of Max throughout the week. I told him not to worry, because we would have plenty from the weekend to share with our loyal readers.
It was an extremely busy weekend, and amazingly, we all made it through it without being too exhausted on Monday!
On Saturday, we all went to our friend Chelimo's 2nd birthday party at a gymnastics gym. (Thanks to Lucy and Shane for inviting us!) Nora, Chris and Mikey were also there, and we all had a great time! Max couldn't run around or jump on the trampolines, but he enjoyed himself nonetheless. He had loads of fun exploring and watching the other kids. We don't have as many pictures from the party, because everyone was moving so fast, which blurred most of the photos. However, here are a few fun shots:

On Sunday, we met Mimi and Pappaw at the Dallas Arboretum, where Max visited his first pumpkin patch! At first, Max really didn't know what to think. See, there was the whole "hay on the ground" situation.

And, also, the giant orange balls everywhere:

Oh, and did I mention the hay on the ground?

Luckily, we managed to make it through the day without Max eating his weight in hay. We also got some really good pictures!

After spending quite a bit of time with the pumpkins, we decided to roam around the arboretum a little bit:

After a few hours, we finally wore Max out:

Or did we?

Max was a real trooper all weekend long. It was good preparation for the next few weekends. (Emma's birthday is this weekend. We're celebrating Pappaw's, Jayden's, and Casen's next weekend.)
It'll be November before we know it, then it will be Max's turn!
We hope everyone had a good weekend and has an even better week!
See you all soon!
