Has it been 5 days?

It doesn't feel like Friday. Not even a little.

Things have been flying by at breakneck speed this week after our visit down south, so we haven't even had the chance to do a proper blog entry, much less a video of the week. To make up for that, I'll try to get two videos up tomorrow for everyone to enjoy.

We spent the weekend in The Woodlands soaking up some of the local atmosphere, like the shops with silly baby stuff...

The hat goes. You have until three. One...two...

Better.

Of course, that's not why we were down there. This weekend we celebrated Emma's second birthday! It's hard to believe how fast she's growing up. It was nice to get all of the cousins together so all the kids could poke at each other and not look at the camera.

Case in point.

The kids all really loved the bounce house (thanks to Jenn!).

Come on, Kyle! Get in there! (Note: Yes, I'm taking a picture and not helping)

Max didn't get a chance to go in there (still too little, sorry bud), but he did seem to enjoy the party favors.

BUBBLES!

Lots of other stuff happened, too...

Kyle figured out how many M&Ms will fit in her hand at one time (10 or so).

Max hung out with his Uncle Mikey.

Dad paved the way for a steady regimen of pain killers.

Max had his first round on a see-saw and showed us his best James Carville impression.

And Max and Emma jointly pondered the great questions of childhood, like, "Why is that kid looking at me?" and, "Who is that kid?"

Then we drove home and passed out for five days, apparently. Great weekend, though, and thanks again to everyone down there for a good time! You can click here to see the rest of the photos from the weekend.
