Here we are, back at home after another crazy weekend. This one wasn't quite so bad, as we weren't planning the party and took a few days off work to take the edge off all the driving. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves at Max's birthday party, and we were able to throw a little Max time into the ceaseless grandchild time-lover that is his Nan. There was also cake. So we had that going for us.
In the interest of brevity, I think I'll make this a conversational blog post.
So, Max, are you ready to go to The Woodl...wait, what are you doing with that?

The trackball, Max. What are you doing with the trackball?

How about no. Let's go see Nan and Papa.

You can see your cousins too, if you like. You can play with...er...Max, Kyle, you know the TV's over there.

Nevermind. You guys have fun. Do you want to play with that lion music-making walker thing?

You guys having fun at Max's party?

Fine. I'll just put the camera away for now. Perhaps after a good night's sleep you'll want to go outside and see the now-empty bounce house.


Now that we've had our play time, would you like to have some turkey for lunch?

Well okay then. Think we can get one last happy photo to sign off?

We had so much fun at your second first birthday party! I loved your Elmo moon walk. Can't wait to see you again after Santa comes to Nan and Pappa's house. I love you MAX!
