For the first time since Max was born, we took a short break from baby blogging. To make up for the time off, we decided to drive all over the place, take him to a gym, search for a day care, and create an improbable list of tasks to be completed during what was supposed to be a nice, relaxing vacation.
It all started innocently enough. We were just hanging around the house having fun.

Then, of course, the big day came.

No.
We traveled to the great northern plains of Texas to visit Mimi and Papaw.

Then, after Tanner took some time to search the skies...

...we headed home, only to wake up the next morning and drive to the Southlands for a very Larkin Christmas.

Let's see, what else happened.
Max met a new friend.

Emma got a new chair.

Emma and Max played a lot.

Max and T Barrett played a little.

Then, exhausted, we finally headed home.

And today, now that we're back at work, we all kind of feel like this.

This is but a small cross section of the events over the last few weeks. I'll have to make a note to put some further updates in there next time, for now I think I'll go slip into a much needed but brief coma.
More photos here (pre-Christmas) and here (Christmas). See you next time!
