We came, we saw, we sniffled, we whined...well, I did. Max and Christy did okay. Barring a horror movie-style last-minute reappearance of our localized plague, we should be out of the woods at this point. Max is back in day care, Christy and I are recovering, and things are finally sliding back to normal. Of course, Max's version of normal is sort of a flexible concept.
For starters, it is now unacceptable for anyone to brush their teeth in his presence. This is not an individual effort, it is a group project.

He's also forming a new relationship with some of our various kitchen implements.

He's also taken a liking to the concept of laying down on the floor. Napping on the floor is still escaping him, but laying there? Awesome.

We also discovered a new food combination that seemed to bring Max back from the brink of his food strike.

So yeah, getting back to normal. Feels good. Maybe we'll even manage to keep things stable for a few weeks.
No, I did not say that with a straight face.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention...

Have a good week!

Max, You are too funny! Thanks for helping your dad brush his teeth, I tried to get him to do it right for 18 years. Glad you finally set him straight! I see you really like berries and waffles. Stay healthy & happy. Love, Nan
