Max in Sherman

As promised, we're catching up on our blog today. Last weekend, Max had a chance to head up to Sherman and visit all his family up there. I believe he got the full Sherman experience in during the trip.

Also, keep reading for those free DVDs I was talking about on Tuesday.

First, we spent a little time around the house. Max decided to make some of his own fun and fixated on a kitchen timer that was sitting around.

Beep beep beep beep

Then he decided that he wanted to see what was going on outside...

Is that a pool?

Indeed it was. That can only mean one thing for our fair-skinned little boy.

Giant sun-blotting hats!

Which, of course, he promptly discarded. Thankfully, Mimi had set up a little pool for him in the shade. He seemed to enjoy that.

Hi Blakely! Woooo!

Hi Tanner!

A whole lot of water later, and we finally found ourselves back inside. That meant that Max got a chance to play a little Rock Band with his buddy Tanner.

Wooo!

Good times all around. It's nice to see him finally adjusting to being around all of his family.

Especially Mimi.

So, good weekend. About those DVDs. I've been working fast and furious over the last two weeks to clean out a tech closet that was filled with old game consoles and wires of every persuasion. The purging of that stuff is causing us to realize that we have a stack of movies that we haven't watched in years. Instead of just eBaying all of it, we figured we'd give our family and friends a crack at it. Anyone who's interested, just let us know. Free to a good home the next time we come and visit The Woodlands or Sherman or wherever:
