The 11 day mark has scrambled our brains and rendered us incapable of handling real writing-type blog posts. As a result, this week you get videos and a link to the photo set. Better than nothing!

I've been hesitant to blog lately. As we get closer and closer to Owen's arrival, the pregnancy hormones are definitely kicking in and I find myself panicking about the weeks to come. I've been afraid that if I started typing, a whole can of pregnant-crazy would be opened. But, things around the house are almost ready and, well, the 15th will be here whether we're ready or not, so I might as well bite the bullet and write a post.

You could call this "the calm before the storm", if by "calm" you mean running around like headless chickens, busily finishing up things around the house, cooking/freezing meals for later, and trying to entertain Max as much as we can during the process. We have managed to squeeze in a few fun times, and Max is surprising us left and right with how smart he is.

Well, we've made it. It's Owen week. Today is our last day as a family of three. The nerve level in the house is definitely at his highest. We had planned to do several activities with Max this weekend, but circumstances beyond our control prevented that. Luckily, it ended up being a blessing in disguise.

It's been one crazy week for the Larkin family! Last Tuesday, we welcomed our newest little man, Owen Beckett.
