Thus marks the last of this round of catch-up posts. We should be back on track next week. Last week we took advantage of the strangers that keep visiting our house and decided to make a couple of treks out to Chris and Nora's new place. Max was perfectly okay with that.
His weekend demeanor continues to be a little fussy due to the lack of naps, and we believe that he's chosen to retaliate by maturing a bit too fast for our liking. He has officially dropped the "ee", thus demoting us to "Mom" and "Dad". To equalize this, I've taken to just calling him "Stinker". We'll see how it turns out.
We actually made the trek out to Mikey's place twice (once each weekend), so Max got his fill of messing around with someone else's toys for a while.
I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is pretty much how it went for an hour or so. Owen was busy elsewhere, perfecting his camera flirting.
After we wore them out just enough, we decided to go to dinner. We made sure to capture this important moment in the other little guy's life.
Luckily he's been in a much better mood for another milestone...
He's also faring better with other, sweeter foods.
Owen is also working hard to come up with new faces to make at us. This one is one of Christy's new favorites.
He keeps taking them off and trying to eat them. I guarantee that thing was soaking wet.
Then of course, the end of the week, which brought us back out to see Mikey again. This time Chris and Nora dug deep into their moving boxes and produced an item of great amazement and wonder.
They had a great time bouncing around until they figured out how to mess with the walls.
After that, they made sure to test out the new toy bucket shelves that Mikey's grandparents put together for him.
I'm pretty sure the boys had a good time. Many thanks to Chris and Nora for letting us crash at their place! If you want to see the rest of the photos from this week, you can click here.
I guess we're all caught up now. Nice to be back to the present again. We'll give you a normal update sometime next week. Promise. Never falling behind again. Ever.
