Aside from a few loose roof tiles and some interesting electrical work we discovered, it's been a relatively uneventful week in our household. Things are slowly making their way onto the walls and out of boxes, and we're almost finished prepping the old house for the final closing. Now that we're settling in, we're taking a little more time to venture out with the boys.

We're almost done with the old house. Just a few more days and we'll be closing out that chapter of our life. This means that the last week was spent touching up paint, cleaning out a garage, and just generally finalizing everything. The week also led into a big family gathering at the new house, which meant even more cleaning.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, sorry about not posting videos last week. I'll drop some at the end of this post to complete my apology.

Christy says the time is flying. To me it's felt like everything is moving in slow motion. Either way you perceive it, as of last week Owen is 8 months old. Normally these photo sessions are an exercise in frustration and madness as we frantically try to get him to look at the camera and smile. I guess he decided to make up for it this time.

While we're talking about milestones, we should probably mention that Max turned two and a half a little over a week ago. He is now making sure to point that out whenever we ask him how old he is. It's been an interesting six months since his birthday, and it's amazing to think of all the changes he's gone through in that short amount of time.
