Aside from a few loose roof tiles and some interesting electrical work we discovered, it's been a relatively uneventful week in our household. Things are slowly making their way onto the walls and out of boxes, and we're almost finished prepping the old house for the final closing. Now that we're settling in, we're taking a little more time to venture out with the boys.
This, of course, means that we must let Max enjoy one of the rites of childhood.
The ducks were kind enough not to try and attack us. A menagerie of other birds started to gather, though. Once they started stealing bread from the ducks and getting a bit close to us on the docks we decided to move on. At least the boys had a good time.
I must admit, for some reason that image just calls out to me. It begs for modification, and I cannot resist.
We also managed to snap a few shots of him after we moved him off the dock and out of the wind.
As tends to happen with these things, someone wasn't fully ready to head home.
When the weekend arrived, we realized that we finally had two boys and zero sicknesses, so we invited a buddy over for some long-overdue play time.
No visit would be complete without a request for smiles.
Not a bad week. If you want to see the rest of the photos, you can click here. I do believe we may have a backlog of videos hanging around. Might just have to post some this week. Guess we'll see you then.
