Fun fact: This post (a late one, per usual) marks the 200th we've made on this blog. A celebration of some sort is probably in order, but I think we'll mark the occasion by noting that it has happened.
Done.
Last weekend, we packed the kids into the car and headed up to Sherman for our annual triple birthday celebration.
He also took the opportunity to show off some of his new-found skills.
He made a point to bide his time until we felt the need to call the pediatrician about his eating habits. Only then did he begin to pretend that food was an acceptable thing to put in his mouth. This was in stark contrast to shoes, shirts, blocks, fingers, shoulders, and pretty much everything else he could get his hands on. Those were all chewed on with wild abandon.
At least we're seeing some progress. Maybe we'll even get him off the jars soon.
Our other son was content to sit (mostly) quietly at the table with his grandfather and cousin and build a log cabin.
Then, before we headed out for the evening, Owen brought out the big guns.
The rest of the weekend was pretty laid back. We hung out around the house and, per the demands of Max, pulled out an old favorite.
Not particularly eventful, but a fine birthday week as far as I'm concerned. If you want to see the rest of the photos, you can click here. Hopefully I can find our video camera at some point, since it would be handy for doing things like posting videos.
Have a good week, everyone!
