Before the snowpocalypse hit, we actually had a normal week around here. The boys went to school, we went to work, the electricity was on, and everything was nice and easy.
For his contribution, Owen continued in his efforts to get our attention by doing amusing things around the house.
Max just waited patiently for the weekend, since he knew we'd be headed out for our third trip to a nearby place with large things for him to jump, slide, and run all over. After our morning trips to swim and gym classes and a decent nap, we headed out for what would be our third trip to the Casa De Bounce Houses in the last several months. Not that we're complaining, since it's a good time for everyone.
Owen spent the first part of the party just hanging out in a large open-area bounce house that had some basketball goals in it.
When I caught up with Max again, I found him in a crazy obstacle course (how my camera survived my climb in there is beyond my understanding).
We didn't get a photo of it, but Owen got a shot at sliding down one of the really big slides this time. When I got to the bottom, I tried to hand him back off to Christy and he started fussing. She set him down and he immediately started trying to climb back up the ladder to go down the slide again.
The rest was pretty much the expected set of fun activities.
After that, we headed home and spent the rest of the weekend in recovery mode. This meant hanging around in our pajamas and letting the kids run around and play with all the toys in the house. Owen continues to act as our little thief, as everything that belongs to his brother inevitably ends up in his hands.
Turned out to be a pretty good week. Normally this is the part where I'd close out our blog post, but this week I actually have a few extra moments so I thought I'd get a video processed for you fine folks.
Sliding
A little action footage from the party.
That'll do it for this week. If you want to see the rest of the photos, you can click here. See you next time!
