We're still a bit behind, but luckily we have a brief post to cover the week after our trip to Houston. We were pretty worn out, so we mostly just spent the week recovering and trying to get some things done around the house. Apparently we also took a total of zero photos of Owen. I have no idea what he was doing, but I was clearly too lazy to take pictures of it during this particular week.
Christy did, however, get some photos of Max spending time in the backyard.
Max has been pretty excited about working in the garden and preparing for the inevitable harvest of flowers. He's been practicing on the weeds for weeks now, and we're pretty sure he's going to fill our house with a constant stream of color once things start blooming.
When the weekend rolled around, we didn't even have him out of his pajamas before he started asking to go back out and water the flowers again.
That afternoon, we took Max out for some time at the park with his buddies from school. We posted the group photos from that a while back, and you can see them here. Max had plenty of fun running around the park, since we hadn't been there in a while.
The kids went their separate ways, and we coasted through the rest of the weekend without much fanfare. We did, however, have Max try out a shirt that was given to him as a gift. This one goes out to Papa.
Have to start them young, you know.
If you want to see the rest of the photos from the week, you can click here. Hopefully next time we'll have some photos of the little guy to share. See you next time!
