It's Tuesday, which means it's time for another weeks-behind update to our humble little blog. This time we'll be covering the weekend of cousin Tanner's birthday party.
When we first rolled into the driveway, we noticed there was a trailer parked out front. It seemed pretty obvious what was going to happen next.
They made a couple of laps around the back yard before Max decided it was time to move on to something else.
When he relinquished the reigns, we decided it was time to give someone else a shot at it.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the yard...
Most of the rest of the day was spent going in and out of the bounce house. Owen's favorite part of it seemed to be lifting up the netting at the entrance.
Probably the most amusing part was when Blakeley decided to join us. Owen started shadowing her almost immediately, trying to tickle her and give her a hug.
I guess she should just consider it payback for what happened when Owen was unable to crawl away on his own. I'm sure it'll get even better with time.
Cake was eaten, presents were opened, a bit more time was spent driving the mini-tractor around, and we packed up the car to head home. When Sunday rolled through, we decided to just take it easy and hang out around the house. This was fine with Owen, since it afforded him the opportunity to partake in his favorite activity.
Okay, maybe not his FAVORITE. Given the options, I'd have to rank dumping things out of boxes above playing with cars, but it's pretty close. He loves rolling them around on the floor and making "VROOM" noises. It was good to see him having such a fun time with his brother and mom.
That'll pretty much wrap it up for that week. To see the rest of the photos, you can click here. See you next time!
