Things got a little busy last week so I wasn't able to keep up with my regular posting. Luckily there's always time to catch up, and Owen made sure to embarrass me in retribution for my tardiness.

Time for the last-ditch last day of the week effort to get a post in on time. With any luck I won't have to resort to the "It's before midnight somewhere!" defense. This one is necessarily a bit photo-heavy. Hope you're into that sort of thing. Last weekend we had a visit from some folks that had Max and Owen brimming with excitement.

Last week was fairly uneventful for the most part. We really only managed to catch some photos when a set of grandparents came down to have a little fun down at the pool with us.

We had the kids home a couple of nights this week and it led me to being a bit lazy. This has resulted in me being a day short of getting a post in on time. I'll make up for it next time with a healthy dose of amusing photos and videos. For now, I'll just discuss the two parties we attended last week.

The boys had a couple of days off school last week, so we decided to use some vacation days at work and turn it into a long family weekend. We didn't make any travel plans, but we did somehow manage to keep everyone entertained for four whole days.
