After last week's photopalooza, we thought we'd take it a little easier. Instead of going crazy with balloons and extensive trips out of the house we kept things much more local.

We were all ready to get a regularly-scheduled blog post in last week when disaster struck. Somehow Christy and I (but luckily not the boys) came down with a bout of food poisoning that put us out of commission for a few days. We're past all that now, so we can get back to our irregular update schedule. The week before all that, we had a mostly uneventful week with a slightly more eventful weekend.

For some reason the members of our household have endured a constant barrage of mystery ailments over the past few weeks. Luckily this week's issue involves me pulling muscles in my legs during a company softball game, so I'm mostly incapacitated. This is conducive to blog posting, so perhaps I'll get things caught up around here. Today's post will be a quick one, given that we took a whopping six photos during the first full week of October.
