Twas two nights before Christmas and...yeah, I'm not going to do that. We're in the final stretch of Christmas preparations and I believe we have as much done as is going to get done. Everything is assembled, wrapped, or otherwise ready for distribution and we're just waiting for Santa to show up so he can put the finishing touches on Christmas. While we wait, we find ways to fill time time.
The week itself was photoless, so we'll just skip right to the weekend. It began with a cookie party.
While Max was busy making faces of infinite concentration, I stepped outside to see what Owen was up to. Turns out he'd made himself at home.
It wasn't long before Max came out to join us.
From there, we headed home to greet some visitors we'd invited over for the evening.
We had a little bit of time while we waited for the pizza, so we decided to kick off the Christmas season a little early with a gift exchange.
The time came for our guests to head home, but we let him take a little parting gift with him.
Once we were done with all that, we were pretty exhausted. This meant we spent most of Sunday like this:
With that, we're done for the week. I'll leave you with a link to the rest of the photos before I go double check everything, plug in all the camera batteries, and hopefully get some rest before all the crazy starts.
