We were just coming off a few-photo week and were readying ourselves for the imminent change in seasons. For some reason, this meant totally neglecting this thing for weeks while we managed various things around the house. Things are looking much better around here, so now I've run out of excuses. I'm going to try and power through to the present in the next couple of days. The week just whips on past us and we somehow completely forget what was going on. We get completely caught up in making sure we're finishing up home improvement projects, feeding the kids, and making sure the house doesn't burn down. It's been fairly uneventful lately, so we were just hanging around the house, making improvements to the garage, and generally trying to keep the boys from badly injuring themselves. Last week was a short one work-wise as the kids had a day off from school on Monday. We decided to take advantage of the oddly nice weather and take the boys out for a long-awaited trip to the zoo. Part of this was due to exhaustion in our return to work. Part of it was due to the fact that we forgot the camera bag when we took a trip out to see Max's buddy Mikey (and Owen's buddy Alex). Either way, the only evidence we have that the week happened was the shark video I posted last time around.
