We had a crazy weekend, but we haven't had a chance to gather our thoughts yet to get a proper Easter post up. Instead, I figure since it's mostly out there anyway, we should finally break our vow of silence.
We had a crazy weekend, but we haven't had a chance to gather our thoughts yet to get a proper Easter post up. Instead, I figure since it's mostly out there anyway, we should finally break our vow of silence.
Looks like we went and missed another week of blog posting, which means there's a lot to catch up on. I guess we'll start from the beginning.
As promised earlier in the week, I finally got the ultrasound scanned so we can share it with everyone. Enjoy!
It's been a crazy week for our family, with multiple hospital visits (spoiler: everyone's fine) and plenty of stress to go around. Luckily, the boys are doing enough entertaining things to balance things out a bit.
It's hard to believe that we actually survived three months with the new little guy in the house, but here we are. Tougher still is realizing that he's sharing so much of the spotlight that he hasn't had a chance to get a blog post devoted entirely to him. I guess it's about time.
Video week seems to have gone over well, and with the holiday coming up we're probably going to find ourselves away from our computers for a while. As such, we figured we'd give you a little taste of holiday cheer before you settle in and wait for Santa.
Yes, yes, we're two weeks late on this. Some day we'll catch up, really. Just a few more posts and we'll be there!
As you may know already, we had ourselves a little weather event in North Texas this week. Over the course of a few days we saw plenty of snow that actually stuck to the ground, leaving us with an extremely excitable two year old.
We're back! And Owen is six months old now! He's also in a much better mood than he was last time we did this.
Last week, Owen hit his latest milestone, moving right on to the ripe old age of 7 months. He's been very busy lately, and is turning into a little boy right in front of our eyes.
Christy says the time is flying. To me it's felt like everything is moving in slow motion. Either way you perceive it, as of last week Owen is 8 months old. Normally these photo sessions are an exercise in frustration and madness as we frantically try to get him to look at the camera and smile. I guess he decided to make up for it this time.
It's hard to believe that in a scant two months, baby Owen will suddenly cease to exist and be replaced by a one-year-old boy. This month has been filled with new developments, abilities, and of course a handful of difficulties.
